Hello!

I have promised to write about my Hawaii trip.

I have the outline done. (Honestly, I do)! I swear, the story will come!

Although I am remiss in completing the account of my trip, I want to share with you a brief note about the Hawaiian culture.

I love to study about places I visit. I especially love to know about the cultures, ethnics, religions and belief systems of those places.

As I am planning to spend a lot of time in Hawaii, I began to study.

I’m embarrassed to say that I had a very limited understanding of a simple but beautiful concept.

I am sure you have all heard the word “aloha”. I had, and thought it simply meant, “hello” or “good-bye”.

Here is a bit more information: (I hope you will find it as enlightening and lovely as I did).

‘Aloha’ is a greeting, and a word spoken in parting, but there is much more to it than a simple “hello” or “good-bye”. Aloha was a recoginition of the spirituality of another. The word comes from “alo”, which means presence, front or face, and the word “ha”, meaning the breath of life. When you combine them, they mean “the presence of Divine Breath”.

Part of the culture and use of Aloha has to do with a concept called “mana” which is spiritual energy or power. If there is life in all things (the trees, the ocean, the fish, the flowers, the birds, etc.) , then in all the world was life, was god, was Aloha.

Life, or Aloha, exists in all things.

Because of Aloha, one would give without worrying about receiving (a concept I mentioned in my article “Giving to Give”).

Aloha had spiritual energy or power = mana. A Hawaiian had to cleanse himself of hate or anger before speaking Aloha. It was not just spoken as a greeting, for it was something that must be felt from the heart.

If you saw the movie “Avatar”, you may have seen the way the blue people greeted each other by putting their faces together and saying “I see you”. This is Aloha. It is recognizing the divine nature of the other, and acknowledging his spirituality. They also recognized the life in all things – an awareness I think could benefit us all.

I am very much looking forward to returning to Hawaii, and to learning much more about this lovely culture.

Aloha.

Louise

To Whom It May Concern:

Have you ever looked at your life and wondered what happened or how did I get here?

I am pushing into my mid 50s and had been asking myself these and similar questions for the past while. I am intelligent, resourceful, educated, and have all of the outward trappings that look to the world like I should be very satisfied with my life and where it is going.

So why did I have this nagging feeling that I was missing something? I was content but thinking that the real excitement in my life was in the past without much to look forward to that did not seem dull. I needed help to get back on track and to be excited about what was coming in the second 50 years.

Then I met Louise Meyer.

Louise is a life consultant who used very specific tools and formulas to take my life situation and find the reasons for it not going as I had planned. She is so much more than a skilled technician and has an amazing intuitive ability to pinpoint the problem and execute the solution with remarkable accuracy . This ability is the result of years of accumulated knowledge and practice. Moreover, I think it comes from extraordinary competence using her technology coupled with a genuine regard and respect for the people like me who she helps. What Louise does is take an exact science and use it very artfully. I deal with patients every day and I know how rare the ability to combine art and science well can be.

Louise is a powerhouse and I cannot praise her enough for the help she has been in restoring my joy in life and excitement about the bright future I see ahead.

Contact me if you have any question. I will be glad to speak with you.

Sincerely,

From a Sales Professional:

Hi Sweetie!

How do you say “thank you” to someone who’s given you hope that you’ll finally get to have a shot at no longer be pinned to the ground?

I sure as hell don’t know, but here’s my attempt to do so:

The gift of hope and the promise of salvation is so priceless, it’s hard to express without being overcome with emotion. I liken it to being found, not breathing and unresponsive and having someone put precious life back into you. I feel simply overcome with gratitude.

I’m now working through the formulas for success, and the realizations just will NOT stop coming…whew!! So much change so fast.

I’ve handled what’s been stopping me. Period!

I realized that the point where I succumb to the things opposing me, is right at that point where that little voice inside me says “…this just does NOT feel right”. When I say “never mind” and go right ahead and jump in against my better judgement, well, that’s where I sell my soul! From that point forward, it’s down the dwindling spiral, slowly as more and more violations of my integrity and personal knowingness
stack up and awareness goes down, my emotional tone level plummets and misery is here to stay.

Really tough to climb back up that slippery slope. Well here I am, one of those guys that climbed Mt.Everest with roller skates on!

Everywhere I look, all areas of my life are responding and things are shooting up at break-neck speed. The entire world just seems simple now. Wow! What a difference!

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the miracles.

You are stuck with me forever! Every time you turn around, there’ll be Curt, smiling back at you.

Sweetie, Mr. Hubbard (discoverer of these wonderful tools) loves you and so do I.

Gratefully,

From a College Basketball player, now Public Relations Executive:

I have to say the Louise Meyer is the most outstanding woman I have ever met. She changed my life for the better and I can honestly say that with out her I would be in a horrible place in my life right now.

I was like many typical college students. I had no real direction except to the bar for another drink. It was after my senior year of college basketball and had lost my purpose in life. I was getting into trouble and being someone that I didn’t want to be.

My father introuduced me to Louise. Within five minutes of our meeting, I could tell that she knew what she talking about and that she was really going to help me.

I had thought I was a hopeless case and that I was just always going to be the way I was. I thought I could not change, and was stuck with the hand that life had dealt me.

Louise, however, did not see it that way. She was able to help me change the way I viewed the world, people and most importantly myself.

When I first heard that she was coming I thought I was going to be put in a dark room with a spot light and be asked everything I was doing wrong. Boy was that not the case!

Louise is the most enthusiastic, help-driven and energetic person I have ever met.

The tools and programs she uses can take any person and turn them in the direction that they want to go, then help them move forward on the right path.

Not once did she make me feel like I was a horrible person or that I was less of a person (which was my fear). Instead, she helped by listening to me and then guided me in figuring out how to fix the unwanted conditions in my life.

Louise was there every single step of the way and pushed me through to reach the targets that I wanted to attain.

I can honestly say that with the help and care she gave me, I am now doing the things in life that make me happy and I am being very successful at them. I have found my purpose and established the goals I want to reach.

I thought there was no hope and that nothing would change. Louise guided me in a way that resolved my unwanted conditions. I was given the tools to help me figure out what I wanted to do in life and how to get there. She helped me through any confusion I had. She helped me handle any upset I had. She helped me with ANYTHING I needed, and with a smile on her face.

Louise made it possible for me to get back to being me!

I have to say life can be hard and there are things that can mess you up along the way. However, Louise Meyer has the heart, dedication, and the know-how to help you to make your life the way you want it to be and will help you get there.

If you want to make a change in your life, you should call Louise right away. She helped give me the tools and I know that she will do the same for you.

I could go on for hours telling people all the ways that Louise can help and everything that she has done for me.

Find out for yourself. Call her today.

Believe me, you will not regret it!

From an Engineer, who is also a mother of two young girls:

[This program] is the most amazing and effective way to truly solve the problems in your life!

When I met with Louise, my spouse and I were struggling with financial issues and fighting all the time, and I felt that I had no direction in my personal and professional life. In essence, I didn’t know who I was and I didn’t know where I was going.

Throughout the entire process, Louise was a totally stabilizing force in my life and the methods and techniques she used truly got at the heart of the problems. As a result of working with her, I feel, for the first time in a very long time, that I have a say in my life – that I have control over me, and, with that, comes a tremendous sense of freedom and satisfaction. The wins I had on my personal program totally transformed me.

My marriage improved, and not only has the fighting ceased, but my husband and I have a new-found vigor for our relationship.

I honestly believe there is no situation – whether personal, professional, or otherwise – that [this program] cannot fix, faithfully followed.

There is hope and there is a solution – that solution begins with Louise!

                                                                 SUCCESS STORY

Recently we asked Louise Meyer to help us with a problem in our dental practice which we have unsuccessfully tried to resolve for almost 10 years.

After numerous attempts to handle a problem between my husband and his partner, the situation had continued to deteriorate and our income had been in a steep decline for the last two years.

Within a few hours, Louise had reviewed the information we gave her, interviewed our key executives and recommended a list of applicable reading material relating to our problem. I was amazed at how accurately the references outlined our exact situation AND gave us the precise handling to resolve the problem.

Upon reading these references the problem became clear and the solution was obvious.

Doing the correct steps to implement this solution brought about incredible relief and the morale and tone level of the executives at our office came up immediately. Additionally, the very day these steps were implemented my husband closed a $17,000 case to be done the following day and the following day he closed another $8,000 in dental services. At this writing, our income is the highest in over a year.

We can’t thank Louise enough for her help. She took a very confusing situation and with the wonderful references provided she gave us the exact way to resolve our confusion.

I’d like to add that we have known Louise for several years and have called on her whenever we have had problems in our family that required skilled and delicate handling.

She has always been able to help us, and we are all winning as a result.

Sincerely,

Dear Friends,

I promised to give you all the news of my recent trip to Hawaii, but frankly, I have been swamped with so much business, there hasn’t been time.

I also promised to share something with you about “giving to give”. Since this concept may help you, I’m giving it the priority.

One of the reasons I am so swamped is that I did just that: “gave to give”. In fact, that is what Hawaii was all about.

Here’s the story:

Even I experience some ups and downs in life. When I do, I use the tools that I apply to others, and I quickly find out why and remedy the situation.

About two months ago, I was experiencing a slump. I had been wanting to go do my volunteer work in Hawaii, but wasn’t sure it was such a wise idea to take off and do free work at that time.

I looked over my income statistics and found that when I do a lot of volunteer work, my personal income is always higher than when I don’t.

So, I decided not to worry about it and just go and give it my all, and that likely I would do better financially, too.

Well, that is exactly what happened. I just gave freely of my time and expertise, helped a lot of people, and, what do you know?

I’ve been flooded with paying customers!

Now, I don’t think it works as well if you are sitting around thinking about yourself and eagerly looking at what’s in it for you.

But honestly, maybe it works anyway. I would think that if you help, something good will probably come your way.

I have used this idea to help certain clients. When I have a client with a problem, I sometimes have them go help someone else with a similar problem.

I have a client who was dreading a family reunion because she had been snubbed and was not given much attention from her family. I advised her to find someone at the reunion who looked like they needed some attention, and to give some admiration and time to that person.

What do you know? She forgot all about her problem and felt just great for having helped another.

Interestingly, she then received a lot of attention from the family!

So, that is my hint for today.

Hope it helps.

Love,

Louise

Dear Friends,

I just got back from a wonderful eleven days in Hawaii.

No, it wasn’t a vacation, but it might as well have been. I love my work so much that I feel like I’m cheating all the time!

A church group invited me to give seminars to their members. This was a volunteer adventure. (More on that later – about how when you give to give, you get so much in return!).

I delivered six workshops, over twenty personal consultations, and trained many others to use effective tools to help each other.

I promise I will tell you all about it, especially how we packed in boat trips, dancing, shopping, fine dining and movies with all of this fabulous personal improvement.

Needless to say, I’m tired! But very happy.

Over the next few days you will hear specifics, and I will share some of the successes from my wonderful Hawaiian friends.

Aloha!

I was having a conversation about ethics and knowledge with my friend, Lance Miller. Lance is a world champion Toastmasters public speaker, and he has given talks on the subject of ethics. As a subject, ethics is dear to my heart, as I deal with ethical matters and questions on a daily basis in my work.

Ethics has several definitions. A very workable definition Lance uses in his speeches, basically describes ethics as making choices that make sense – choices that lead to more survival, rather than less.

He described ethics as the footprint you leave wherever you go. What we do affects those around us, and we can either uplift people and enhance them, or bring them down. Obviously, uplifting and enhancing would be the more ethical choice.

This got me thinking about how even the small interactions we have with people can make a difference. It brought to my attention an encounter I had last week, and I’d like to share it with you:

I was in a barbeque place in Austin, Texas a few days ago. I’d just flown in after a whirlwind trip to the east coast. (Texas has fabulous barbeque, as you may know!)

There had been a very bad accident in front of the restaurant a few days before my visit, so that was the talk of the day.

A disabled man began to talk to me, telling me about the accident he’d had in front of that same restaurant twenty years ago.

He is crippled for life, and his speech is severely impaired. He struggled to talk and I struggled to listen. Somehow, I felt it important to give him my full attention.

It took a long time for me to get the story of the accident, and how he was in a coma for three weeks. The doctors told him he would not live.

He was determined that he was going to live, and he did. Although it might not have been my choice to live under those circumstances, it was obviously very important to him, and he was proud of having won.

I validated him for having made his goal to live happen. He lit up like a light bulb, and grabbed my hand and kissed it. He pointed at me and, in his very disfigured voice said, “friend”.

It really got to me and made me wonder how often anyone actually had listened to this man. That encounter kept drifting into my thoughts over the next few days, and I was very glad that I had taken the time to listen, even though it wasn’t really pleasant for me to do so.

I thought about all the times that someone had done something for me that may not have been hard for them to do, but had been very meaningful for me.

Here’s the point of the story: you never know how you might affect someone. Sometimes the smallest thing can make a big difference to another.

Although I’m not perfect at doing so, I’ve made it my personal policy to try to leave everyone I encounter with something positive – even if it is only a smile or a compliment. It might make a difference. And the attitude can spread.

Sometimes it seems that we can’t create much of a difference around us, but I think if everyone made it a point to bring others up, the world would be a better place.

Recently one of my clients asked me how to handle her two-year old boy that was being naughty, without breaking his spirit.

I recommended that she invalidate his wrong action, without invalidating him.

I firmly believe that we are all basically good, and that bad behavior is actually not our nature. So, I told her to say, when he was being naughty: “That’s not my boy. I know my boy. My boy is nice”.

He’d been acting pretty awful that day. After our session she went home, and he was being mean to the cat. She did what I recommended, and the boy stopped hurting the cat and went off saying “Im a nice boy!” and was wonderful for the rest of the day.

This has been very successful with handling children and adults, too.

When you correct someone, you can target the bad action, not the person.

You can say to the child, (or co-worker, or husband or wife): “What you did was wrong”, or “That wasn’t OK”. “I love you, but it upsets me that you hit your brother.” “I know you are a good person, (child, husband, secretary, etc.., but that wasn’t the right thing to do”.

You will get a much better response and less tendency for the person to make errors, than if you tell them THEY are wrong, bad, etc.

Try it and let me know how it works for you.

Love,

Louise
